How to Draw Challenge: The First – Kamei Eri

This is the very first video of the year. I seriously wanted to post this on the very first day of the year but in the end I could not so so. Reason being that I had to take some time to think things through before making any new videos. Since most of my old videos were destroyed I will be posting up my favourite ones as well as new ones of course.

Like my very first video on this channel it will have commentary to better engage the viewers. Right now it is mostly intruction, but I think it might be good to talk a bit about what I felt as I drew and any other thoughts that might have passed through my mind at those moments. I want to integrate my voice into the videos but I will wait until I have the right equipment so that it looks and sounds good.

I have decided to use only one song from now on for my videos (at least for now), I truly hope you guys do not mind. Aside from that I will also give some recommendations on what music I think would go best with the pieces that I am working on. In this case I believe that  Morning Musume’s – “Onna ni Sachi Are” would fit quite well with this drawing.

Kamei Eri is definitely one of my favourite Morning Musume members. There is something about her expressions that make her really interesting, not to mention how cute she is. It was really sad to see her go.

New Beginning – XERO

So I have decided to post the first video to try and get some feedback on how to make sure it isn’t too simple since it will no longer have any music. Hopefully you guys can help me in making them entertaining enough so that no one gets bored when watching them. I have placed two options on the video being adding subtitles or doing a voice over explaining the process. Even if it doesn’t have any music you can all just play your favorite in the background as you watch making it more personalized for each of you.

I truly hope you guys enjoy the new channel which will have it’s first drawing video on Saturday.

Now then until next time, today’s my birthday so will have to keep this short.

Ai Takahashi Graduation Commemoration

It’ was really sad to hear the news when it was announced that Ai Takahashi was going to graduate a couple of months ago. So to commemorate the graduation of my all time favourite Morning Musume member I decided to draw her. I chose to draw her in the Mikan Motif because that is the first video that I saw and discoverd the group. The person who really captured my attention with her smile was none other than the cute and beautiful Ai Takahashi. Her gaze and smile as well as amazing voice captivated me. For some reason I kept having problems when I was drawing her, it was really hard to capture her face expression.

President

I have been named as the President of the very first Art Club for my university. Because my school is only foucused on business, an art club never existed before, so this will be the first of it’s kind. We have decided on our very first objective as well. We are planning on making an Art Gallery + Fashion show, I’m sure if we put all our effort into it, it will definitely be a success. Not only will we be making publicity for the school but also make a name for ourselves and make a bit of money out of it as well.

On another note, the school is also making a competion to see who can create the school’s mascot. The theme is a Samurai wich is really cool. Wish me luck.

RE: Eri Kamei

Here is the drawing of Eri Kamei with a few minor fixes. Since I had to draw it as fast as possible for the Youtube Video I couldn’t really add too much shadow to give it a more realistic feel. Here it is down below.
