Inktober 2062 day 07 Skelecat
I’ve been wanting to make more Battlecats drawings. Since we are in the spooky season I wanted to draw a spooky cat, hence Skelecat. Wasn’t too sure what I would do so I just started hatching Skelecat but it seemed too simple so I hatched around it. But that still looked off. Adding some bats helped but I felt the addition of the tree branches really helped it in the end.

Inktober 2026 day 05 Hermione Granger
I was having a hard time deciding what or who to draw today. While looking through my references I came upon the idea of drawing some Harry Potter art. In this instance I wanted to draw directly from a reference photo of Hermione. The bigger paper makes it easier to draw and add more details which is cool. But it does use a lot of ink and takes time to fill out the full paper.

Inktober 2026 day 04 Kanzaki Kaori
Years ago I drew (back in 2018) Kanzaki Kaori in her fallen angle cosplay. Of course the drawing then was a bit wonky so I wanted to give it another try.
Also, I noticed that I was looking at this year’s prompts wrong so I think I’m just going to draw whatever comes to mind that day. Hopefully I do more autumn and Halloween inspired drawings to fit the mood.

Inktober 2026 day 02 Cactus Togemon
When I saw cactus as the prompt I was reminded of Togemon from Digimon. I haven’t seen the anime since I saw the dubbed version that was aired on tv back in the day. I remember really liking it, I wonder if it still holds up? I wanted to add some action lines around Togemon but through Krita after I finished inking it. But I haven’t tried that out yet so I don’t know how yet.

Inktober 2026 day 01 Apple Hex Girl
First day of October today. This means it’s time to once again do the monthly challenge. I smudged the drawing a couple of times. It’s obvious that I’m a bit rusty, but it didn’t take me long to get in the groove again. Was busy so I didn’t have as much time to really work on it today, but I managed to get it done. I’m hoping to do more than just line arts this year, but we’ll see if time and other circumstances allows it.

Tomoyo Harada Toshiba Sugar Line Art
Here is a some line art of Tomoyo Harada holding a Toshiba Sugar RT-SW7 boom box. I used a magazine advert as reference. I can’t believe it, but this might be my first time drawing her. Strange because I have so many pieces I had planned for a couple of years now.

Virtuous Contract 2B
It’s funny, now that my skills have gotten a bit better I have been going back to old art pieces and see what I can do with them now. And in Pixiv there is currently a contest where they want us to upload redo’s of old artwork to showcase one’s growth. Somehow this all came together at the same time. I’ll be uploading some more artwork throughout April.
Working with blues is still a bit tough for me so I want to do some more later this year.
As for this art piece, I edited the line art to change the proportions and angles. Once I had that edited I came up with the background so I could come up with the color theme of 2B.
I felt it would be a shame if I didn’t have a version without her blindfold.
