Cheeky Smile Anya Black and White

This was originally drawn for Inktober 2022 day 21. Last time I uploaded a version that I photographed so I had to scan it before I got to work on it further. But I forgot to erase the pencil lines so I had a bit more work then I wanted right of the start. I wasn’t too sure how I wanted to add the screen tone so that was made up as I worked. The eyes of the original drawing were a bit off so I edited them a bit. Other than that, the whole drawing was kept almost in tact. Looking at it now, I’m so glad I don’t have to draw the surrounding effect lines by hand. Clip Studio is such a life saver.

Fubuki gust Screentone Color

This one was in the chamber for a while now. I’m also planning to paint it with another background. But I still haven’t decided what the scene will be. This time I wanted to try out color screen tone. But I went about it the wrong way. A future piece I finally learned the proper way of using Clip Studio and man has it been so much easier.

Color really hits different. Though black and white also has it’s charm.

Goku’s Drip

Original line art was drawn for Inktober 2022 day 04. I wanted to try drawing Goku in a different style with some slightly softer hair. I prefer the black and orange combination so I used blue for the sneakers only. The outfit I feel would be great for both working out and wearing casually so I could see another iteration of Goku wearing this outfit instead of his Kame outfit.

The original line art was cut off from the bottom and the top so I resized it and drew the missing sections.

Shizuku Kuroe

Line art originally done for inktober 2022 day 5.

I’ll be trying out different painting styles with this year’s batch of line art. The background is of a photo I took of a catholic building back in the day and used the screen tone filter. Just trying something new (and didn’t feel like painting a background this time).

Kimono Muscle Girl drawing 3 inked

I’m finally uploading the inked version of the third Michiko Nishiwaki drawing. Looking at it now I feel the hatching looks a bit messy. I’ll have to study why that is before October starts.

Kimono Muscle Girl drawing 2

It’s been a while since I last worked and uploaded one of the three drawings (inked) of Michiko Nishiwaki from the movie My Lucky Stars. Once I learned how inking works, I can just jump in and draw without much thought. Even more so doing it digitally since I can undo any sections that I don’t think quite work. It’s actually quite therapeutic.

Skull Knight Loss

This was originally drawn for Inktober 2020 day 31, but I wasn’t happy with the proportions.

I fixed those using PhotoShop and fixed a couple of areas. The hatching was done using Clip Studio.

Skulll Knight’s story was already sad after seeing the brief flash back from one of the latest chapters. But it just got even more sad because we won’t know any more about him due to the tragic loss of Kentaro Miura. We will always have to wonder what his ultimate goals and journey would entail.

Kyōko Koizumi ‘Dunk’ Cover

I messed up last time and attributed the model for this drawing wrongly. The artist/model in the January 1985 “Dunk” magazine. Luckily I got to fix it this time around. I decided to go for a more colorful color scheme.

Kyōko Koizumi ‘Dunk’ Cover line art

This is based on a cover of ‘Dunk’ featuring Haruko Sagara as Sukeban Deka Kyōko Nakamura. I drew this free hand with my pen, without a rough draft which gave a rather unfortunate facial features. I had to edit things out in order to get it all working and looking more presentable.
