"A Hopeless Dream Chaser"
I originally tried painting this drawing back in 2020. To keep with the theme of the original attempt, I decided to go with a flat style. Though it would have been interesting to try it with my current style.
I was quite content with the simpler painting but I wanted to add in some lighting to really emphasize that summer vibe.

In order to continue to test out Krita I decided to do a study of Momochi using one of her photos from her digital photobook vol. 77. I was at first using a really scuffed reference photo until I remembered to search for a high quality version.
The oil brush is still not quite there yet but the blender tool is the best I’ve tried so far. I just wish I had the ability of using the sargent brush in Krita. I really miss it.
