I have some other paintings that are not ready yet so I decided to do a study for today’s painting. This time a puddle after a rain storm. I struggled a bit with this one. There are translucent areas but there are also areas that have reflections. On top of that there are a lot of pebbles and other organic branches and leaves. It wasn’t quite working at the beginning but as I kept adding details it all came together.
