… day 24. Can’t believe the month is ending and I haven’t really had time to really watch many movies to get in the spooky season. I was having a hard time deciding what to draw today too. In the end I decided to do another ink painting. This time of some branches. Wonder what I’ll choose tomorrow?

Background for a future painting. Summer is finally ending in just a few days. I should seriously start working on some fall themed art.

It is the end of Spring. This will be the final Spring painting for this year. Since the last time I uploaded the background, I decided that it just didn’t look right. It became super apparent when I added Shiro. This time I decided to go for a flat anime style.

I have an idea for the subject, but I still have some ideas that I want to add to this background.

With a bit more experience I decided to give my K’ painting another try and fix areas that I felt needed work. I’ve also added a couple more details such as lights and steam. Pretty soon I will start working on some winter artwork. Shame I couldn’t fully enjoy this fall season.

There is an illustrator by the name of fjsmu (ふじしむ) that uses some beautiful colors for his paintings. I wanted to give it a try. I believe it uses the concept of color theory. It really makes it pop. I will try to keep this in mind for future paintings.

It’s finally the start of Fall! To commemorate I decided to make a quick painting.

This background is to recreate a scene that I really like from an anime that I just started watching. But just copying the scene would be no good, so I decided to at least change the vantage point. With that said, I have seen landscape paintings that are done in a cube or in a cross section. I really like the aesthetics of it, so I decided to give it a try for this one. It was actually pretty fun to paint.
