Gachapon Background

In the rough draft I had a simpler brick layout but after looking at some reference photos I decided to redo it all again before converting it to color. Choosing what the contents of the gachapons actually took me a while to decide on.

Forest Path

When I first started I was a bit overwhelmed due to all the details. It got to the point that I had to take a week or two after I started. But once I came back to it, it wasn’t too bad.

Rainy Bus Window Background

I love Spring, I love rain and I love raindrops on windows. But man does it take a long time to paint every single of them. I believe the last time I painted them was for my Momochi study I did years back. Hopefully I get to do some more before Spring ends.

Lighting background

This will be the background for a certain painting that I will upload in the future. Surprisingly I kept having trouble with something so simple. I kept painting and repainting both this background and the actual subject. All I’ll say is that I’ve come to really like the sponge brush.
