My head is currently fried and I also had limited time today so I only had time to get the rough draft and line art done today. Who knows if I will finish this piece. Who knows, I might make it a two part piece that I could hopefully get the chance to finish next year…

I was thinking of what I should have done as my first art piece of the year. I was looking at some references from Oboro Muramasa and when I saw the food paintings I decided to do just that. In our household we make tamales for Christmas and New Years, usually accompanied with an egg and a coffee. I tried going off memory.
Things don’t look too promising but hopefully this isn’t too bad. Hope you guys have a good one.
