"A Hopeless Dream Chaser"
Were getting closer and closer to the end of summer so I think this would be a good time to post this painting. I had to go through a lot of edits with this paintings from the background to the Misaka and Kuroko. This time I decided to go with a mixture of my style and flat colors.

This is actually a RE:do from 2022. I decided to re-paint not only Misaki but also the whole background. From there I then simplified my painting all over. This time I also decided to actually add in a sports bra this time. There were also other details I changed but you can compare it if interested. Here is the old version:

A rough draft of Misaka Mikoto for a future painting. She is actually part of a pair.

After two years I decided to give this painting another try. Most of if was left intact surprisingly. But certain parts were simplified. What I wanted to focus on were the eyes and expressions. they were really goofy before. Misaka’s head position I felt would have a stronger effect if I had her focus on the chocolate out of embarrassment. Saten I feel would be the best friend to learn how to cook anything from. Although she would tease Misaka a bit while doing it.

For today’s drawing it is Frenda… her friendship with Saten was really fun and cute. Shame what happened after…

I originally had a different idea for today, but I thought it would be funny to have Xochitl with a passport with the picture of her Japanese disguise. Didn’t have the time to ink and hatch it in today though, but that’s fine I can take my time at a later date.

I work way faster if I just paint things out instead of using line art rough sketches I’ve noticed. And if I want to make line art from that I can just go over it at the end.
On another note, despite liking Accelerator I believe this is the first time I have drawn him. It only took over a decade…

This is my second attempt at painting this painting of Misaki Shokuhou. Aside from giving it another try at painting her, I also made a few edits to her outfit using the anime as reference for her outfit. Overall, it looks much better now.

Took me a while to learn, but for my style it’s best not to use the pen line art unless I’m using flat colors.

Somehow made it. This is this year’s Valentine’s day illustration. I decided on choosing Misaka and Saten for this scenario. I can’t believe I haven’t drawn or painted Saten except for that one time a couple of years ago. Of course since this illustration has Misaka I ended up adding some Gekota.
This illustration took a bit longer than anticipated but I think it was worth it. Hope you guys have a good one.

Day 29. We’re getting really close to the end of this year’s Inktober. Didn’t have much time today to ink it since I was still figuring out the outfits. I was thinking of having Misaka and Misaki in Halloween costumes. So at first I was thinking mosnters, but in the end I decided upon Red Ridinghood and Alice from Alice in Wonderland.

We’re finally getting close to the end of the summer. The mornings are no longer freakin hot, now it’s usually cool before it begins to heat up. This drawing was a quick one i did when the heat was almost unbearable throughout the day and even night. I wanted to do a quick and simple drawing with a simple coloring scheme that I’ve seen from other artists.
I have one last summer painting for this year and will now begin doing some autumn artwork. October is also almost here, which means Inktober. This year I plan on making more finished drawings instead of just line art.
