Ranma Leaning in Pose Rough Draft
Serena Motola Study Rough Draft
One of my favorite artists Little Thunder has a very distinctive style. At some point I saw various showcases of her process. I noticed that she used a model various times, that being Serena Motola. Thinking back it’s been years since I’ve wanted to draw or paint her. I can’t believe it took me that long to finally have a go. I went a little too hard on the freckles so it doesn’t look quite right. I made them a little too dark. It’s obvious I have no experience with freckles yet.

Guts Sword Strike Rough Draft 2
Today’s drawing is the second iteration of the sword strike rough draft I uploaded previously. This time around I added the outlines of the armor, trying to figure out how it would sit on Guts.

Morda Laying on her Broom Rough Draft
Although I am working on some new work, I also want to RE:do some previous attempts with my current skills. Now that I a have caught up to Berserk, I want to draw and paint so many things from the series. But this also means I can work on previous attempts that need some work.

Momoko Tsugunaga Krita rough draft
Rough draft of Momochi. I have been tweaking my brush as I have been painting. It still isn’t quite there yet, but it is getting better. One thing I do prefer in Krita is the blender. It softens and merges the colors the best way out of all the art programs I’ve tried.

Here is another test with Krita, this time in black and white. I chose Airi as the subject. I found more brushes that emulate what I prefer so I hope it works out better once i add in color.
