Kabru Reaching Out Line Art

I decided to redraw the Kabru line art again. The old version looked janky and I noticed that when I draw in Clip Studio it looks better when I use the pencil brush. I also edited a couple of sections all throughout. I think it looks much better now.

Shokuhou Misaki after a workout

This is actually a RE:do from 2022. I decided to re-paint not only Misaki but also the whole background. From there I then simplified my painting all over. This time I also decided to actually add in a sports bra this time. There were also other details I changed but you can compare it if interested. Here is the old version:

Misaka and Saten’s Valentines Day V2

After two years I decided to give this painting another try. Most of if was left intact surprisingly. But certain parts were simplified. What I wanted to focus on were the eyes and expressions. they were really goofy before. Misaka’s head position I felt would have a stronger effect if I had her focus on the chocolate out of embarrassment. Saten I feel would be the best friend to learn how to cook anything from. Although she would tease Misaka a bit while doing it.

Airi Jacket RE:do

It’s about to get even colder where I live so I wanted to paint something to reflect that. Looking at some references I remembered a painting I made back in 2021 that I wanted to eventually get back to and give it another try. So I decided to RE:do my Airi painting of her in a jacket. I also decided to try out a couple of new brushes aside from the sargent brush. I’m glad I did so because some of them fought me less when I was spreading paint and mixing. My plan is to continue practicing until I understand them better. This time around I was also more confident in giving her mitts a try.

K’ Pain V2

With a bit more experience I decided to give my K’ painting another try and fix areas that I felt needed work. I’ve also added a couple more details such as lights and steam. Pretty soon I will start working on some winter artwork. Shame I couldn’t fully enjoy this fall season.

Morrigan Aensland Crescent Moon V2

I was planning to do some new paintings for this Halloween but time didn’t permit that sadly this year. But I did get a chance to at least RE:do Morrigan. Hopefully things will work out better next year.

Kodachi Kuno Swimsuit V3

The end of summer is finally here. Fall is just around the corner! I wanted to do more summer based art but I was bogged down with other things going on. Maybe next year.

I actually wanted to retry a couple of past paintings but since I ran out of time I will have to end it with Kodachi. This makes the third revision (and probably the last). Although version two wasn’t back I wanted to give it another try. I wonder though if people would even be able to tell the difference? I also edited the background but I kept forgetting that certain details would just get hidden behind Kodachi. With that in mind I decided to also add in the background.

Ranma thumbs up Re:do

On my first attempt I wanted to emulate the anime style coloring, but I was still learning about colors and just using digital art programs.

I debated whether to go with the style I’m currently working on or a flatter anime style. I like both so it was a hard choice. In the end I went for something in between. This time I wanted to give some summer vibes.

I’ve been reading the manga, there is so much I want to draw and paint…

Strawhats At The Beach

I decided to work on the Nami painting again. But I felt she was too lonely so aside from reworking her and the background I decided to add the other (official) female members of the Strawhats. For some reason I was having trouble with the colors for Robin and Vivi’s hair.

Summer Park Background
