Mai Shiranui and Chun Li
Here is the painted version of my Mai Shiranui and Chun Li artwork. I can’t believe it took me years (I believe I said it was an idea from 2021) to give this painting a try.

Underwater Background
This is the background for a future painting. Surprisingly despite all the details and characters that I have incorporated to the final piece, it only took me two days to paint the background and the actual subjects. As for what this painting will end up bein, those who know, know.

Athena Asamiya Peace Re Do Rough Back Ground
Still don’t know yet if I will add a proper background to this painting yet. Now that I have it at this point I have some ideas of what is possible, but I wanted to try this rough background out since I liked it on another painting I saw in my references. To go along with the background, I went for a rough painting style on Athena. There were a couple of changes I made to her face and hair. I wonder if you guys can tell? With this design I wanted a fun, moe feel that emphasizes curves.

Nico Robin’s Sacrifice
I’ve been re-reading One Piece. And I’m enjoying it more as an adult than when I was a kid. What’s amazing is that as the series goes on, it just gets better and better. This also goes with the emotional parts of the story. I forgot just how tough Robin’s life was growing up. Oda did a great job of making us understand why Robin would do her best to distance herself from the Straw hats during this arc. Truly a great character and addition to the crew.

Mai Shiranui vs Chun Li Line Art
Today’s drawing is of the two rival poster girls, Mai Shiranui and Chun Li. Chest vs Thighs. I’ve had this idea for number of years. I did a really rough background for it back in 2021 but I wasn’t quite ready so it lay dormant till now. This time I did the line art first and will probably end up using a different background this time.

Tomoyo Harada Toshiba Sugar Line Art
Here is a some line art of Tomoyo Harada holding a Toshiba Sugar RT-SW7 boom box. I used a magazine advert as reference. I can’t believe it, but this might be my first time drawing her. Strange because I have so many pieces I had planned for a couple of years now.
