Inktober 2019 25 Guts One eyed

Today’s theme is “one eyed”. It’s been a while since I did a Berserk piece so I decided to draw Guts again. This time I made up a pose used references after to know how to draw the armor. This one took a long time to draw trying to figure out the way the body would fold and flex, and then the most time consuming was trying to figure out how the armor would look from certain angles. It wasn’t hard, it just took me a couple of tries to try out different angles and shapes. What sucks is that I ripped and folded the paper when I erased the pencil lines. It’s a shame.

Inktober 2019 24 Buono Striped Knee highs

Today’s Pixiv theme is Striped knee highs. Decided to challenge my self today and draw three subjects and even ink them. I had much less time than I thought I would today but I still somehow managed to do it. Having said that, I was originally planing to have them sitting in a couch with a window behind them showcasing a snowy background (this because it snowed all throughout last night where I live), but that would balloon the amount of time and it’s already rather late as I write this. For now this will do. I will come back to it later of course. I really love Buono so I was really happy as I was drawing them.

Inktober 2019 23 Airi Suzuki Pshysical sitting

Today’s Pixiv theme is physical sitting. I didn’t know what that was so I had to look it up. Anyway, for this piece I drew it all from memory on my free time throughout the day. I’ve been watching the Berryz Koubou with Cute concerts before I go to sleep. I liked the hairstyle Airi had in the BerryKyuu Island concert so I gave that a try. I won’t lie, I was surprised how well it came out. I also noticed I worked much faster than using a reference.

Inktober 2019 20 Nube Windy

Today’s Pixiv theme is hoodie. It has gotten quite windy lately. I was actually woken up around 2 or 3 am today because the wind was blowing quite strong. In fact it was quite windy all throughout today. I really like the sound of the wind as it blows through trees and houses, it’s quite soothing.

Inktober 2019 18 Momochi Ginkgo Biloba

Today’s theme is Ginkgo Biloba (Maidenhair tree). I wanted to do another Momoko Tsugunaga drawing. To my surprise on her “Hatachi Momochi” photobook she is holding a Ginkgo Biloba leaf. It was meant to be.

Inktober 2019 16 Native dress Mexico

Today’s Pixiv theme is native dress so I chose a typical Mexican one specifically from the state of Durango. Had a bit of more time today so I shaded it a bit. Since I did this one on the move I used a Pentel EnerGel ball point pen. It’s quite good, thin and the ink flows out quite well. But I can’t erase with it since the ink smears. I gave it about an hour to dry out but it would still smear, quite a shame.
