Chipmunk from Crater Lake Line Art

I got a sprained ankle from the last hike I did so I decided to just sit at the top of Crater Lake instead of hiking around the trails. While I was eating some corn nuts, three pieces fell on the ground. Which was a bummer, but I decided to just pick them up when I finished eating what was left in the bag when about 30 minutes later a chipmunk appeared and was eyeing me as he approached closer and closer. This was a picture of him trying out one of the corn nuts.

I’m back from my trip

I went for the first time to the West Coast and got to see and experience the ocean for the very first time. I also got to see and walk among the sequoia’s. It was a pretty fun trip. Although because of the hikes and car travelling I didn’t get much time to actually draw much. But I did manage to slip some time so I could draw a couple of pieces. I’ll be uploading them over the coming days.

It was fun, but I’m glad I’m back.

First visit to the sea

Currently on vacation. This time I went to Oregon with my brother and friend. This is my first time seeing the ocean. It’s amazing. Since I don’t have too much time to draw I’m trying out this new app that allows me draw with pixels. It’s called pixel studio. The amount of options is amazing. Although it’s kind of weird drawing with my finger since I apply multiple pixels at times.

I wonder if you can tell what I drew without telling you.

Momochi Pixel Camping

I wanted to try another pixel art piece, this time with Momoko. I used a photo of Momochi camping from her “Momochi Zukan” photobook as reference. I started with a 200×200 canvas, but it was a little too big for the effect I wanted. So decided to make it into a 100×100 instead.

Sayumi Pokemon Version Blue

This is based on a photo where Sayu is with an undisclosed friend, perhaps Kamei Eri… one can only hope. I decided to make a pixel art version using Pro Motion NG.

Lady Naoko Kawai Study

I’ve been itching to do another Naoko painting lately. While looking through my references I came upon what looks to be a poster that says “[Seikodo] Lady Naoko” (another poster did not have Seikodo on it) and some more text below tI’ve been itching to do another Naoko painting lately (I still am). While looking through my references I came upon what looks to be a poster that says “[Seikodo] Lady Naoko” (another poster did not have Seikodo on it) and some more text below that which I can’t quite read but I believe a part of it has Naoko’s full name. On the top right of the poster is some kanji that I translated as “girls bloom”. On the side is some small text that’s also hard to read (I think it has this text: “夕女は。悪いて大人になる” although the kanji is quite hard to make out since it’s so blurry)If anyone knows what this poster is for, do let me know. Just searching for Lady Naoko yields no results.

Arnold Schwarzenegger The Terminator

I wanted to make a Terminator drawing influenced by Akira Toriyama, although I noticed that my take on it is not as round so it doesn’t have that same fun aesthetic. But perhaps that was the best outcome since my take would look to much like Major Metallitron (Metarikku Gunsō) who is obviously inspired by Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator.
