I have a lot of anime that I just love, but the original Super Dimensional Fortress Macross is definitely my favorite anime of all time. The story is timeless and amazingly written, the characters are surprisingly deep and the action is incredible, especially considering that it was made in the 80s where they were pushing the boundaries of what could be done with animation. In short, if you have not seen it, please do.
Now as for this piece I have Lynn Minmey a songstress who also happens to be instrumental in the survival against invading forces. The character was in part based on two active idols in the 80s that were incredibly popular at the time; Akina Nakamori and Matsuda Seiko.
